  1. Romans is Paul’s greatest accomplishment, his magnum opus. A revelation

of God’s plan to redeem, reconcile and restore.
  2. For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it

is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16 (ESV)
  3. On that day when, according to my gospel, God judges

the secrets of men by Christ Jesus. Romans 2:16 (ESV)
  4. This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to

all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood - to be received by faith. Romans 3:22-25 (NIV)
  5. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the

evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV)
  6. And without faith it is impossible to please him, for

whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. Hebrews 11:6 (ESV)
  7. In hope he believed against hope, that he should become

the father of many nations, as he had been told, “So shall your offspring be.” He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body, which was as good as dead (since he was about a hundred years old), or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah’s womb. Romans 4:18-19 (ESV)
  8. Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord: though

your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool. Isaiah 1:18 (ESV)
