Smurfs: The Lost Village - "Dragonfly Ditch"

This Gargamel and Azrael sequence went through many iterations during the production of “Smurfs: The Lost Village”. As the story changed over the course of different versions of the script with a revolving door of writers, this tentpole sequence had to evolve with the ever morphing plot. Dragonfly Ditch was a sequence that was always intended to be in the film, regardless of the story. As such, I went back to working on this sequence time and time again. I think I enjoyed torturing Gargamel almost as much as Azrael does!
