4. In the shipping world, imagine Broker A hires Carrier B to move goods. B passes the job to Carrier C. A pays B, but B avoids paying C for transporting the goods and stops responding. C, in need of payment, might approach the shipper directly. This could make the shipper think A isn't paying carriers, harming A's relationship with the shipper.
