E N TA L S Two Ways to Colour Cloth The method decides what the eye notices first: a pattern on the surface, or colour that runs through the whole cloth. Printing Dyeing Colour is applied onto the fabric in a set design. The fabric absorbs colour across its whole surface. • The pattern becomes the focal point • Solid colour from edge to edge • From crisp detail to metallic shine • The weave's texture stays visible • Print scale shapes the final look • Fabric stays soft and breathable WEAVING VIBES 2
works as a design layer on the cloth, so motifs, contrast and detail lead the look. Weaving Vibes offers its printed material in three techniques: AZO-free digital, foil and eco prints. How print scale changes the look Small Shirts, kids wear, detailed garments Medium Dresses, tops, skirts Large Sarees, kaftans, statement outfits WEAVING VIBES AZO-Free Digital Print Inkjet printing with no screens captures gradients, intricate patterns and vibrant colour. Applied on 100% hemp, with no harmful chemicals used Foil Print Metallic accents add a reflective finish, ideal for festive and occasion wear. e.g. Gary Payton: black and gold foil on 100% hemp 3
Eco printing sits between the two methods. It creates a pattern, yet the colour comes from the plants themselves. 1 Leaves, flowers and plant matter are bundled inside the fabric. 2 The bundle is steamed or boiled to transfer pigments and tannins. 3 Each piece carries the plant's own shape and colour, so every design is one of a kind. Dyeing colours the whole cloth instead of adding a design on top. Weaving Vibes weaves most of its dyed material in plain weave and colours it with AZO-free or natural dyes, so the fabric keeps its softness, breathability and strength. AZO-Free Solids Naturally Dyed Clean, solid shades that let the plain weave texture show. London Pie: 100% hemp, 125‑135 GSM, 58″ width. Plant-derived colour on a minimal, textured weave.
