But, What Does This All Mean? • Governance is always happening – whether we acknowledge it openly or not. • Governance has consequences – both for the governors and for the governed. • Poor governance  paralysis/disaster. • Poor/experimental governance in public blockchains limits their usefulness for anything of importance. • Paradox – if you add governance, are public blockchains innovative/special?
