Motivators - motivation that refers to the performance of an activity in order to attain an external outcome, such as recognition or a reward. Intrinsic Motivation - motivation that comes from within the individual and does not rely on outside pressure such as a desire for a reward. For example, a person’s motivation to participate can come from a desire to do good or a desire to learn a new skill.
