  8. Funding Strategy • Phased Construction over 5-10 years • Total

    Amount Needed – 11 Cairns + Sun – $7,500 per donation – cairn has bronzed plaque in honour of a nominee – Total Cost approx. $90,000 will be raised : • To build 11 cairns + SUN • Plus free rugged outdoor telescope at Cattle Point (as used on BC Ferries)

    • May 2014 : Introduced the idea to : • Oak Bay Tourism • The Oak Bay Business Improvement Association • June 2014 : 4 Walks designed and “launched” on the Cattle Point Star Park Web Site • July-August 2014 : – Oak Bay Municipality Community Initiatives Committee – Oak Bay Council for approval for SUN and EARTH
