[Jan25-CNCF-Madison] Campfire Series Kickoff

[Jan25-CNCF-Madison] Campfire Series Kickoff

The Campfire Series is a new initiative by Cloud Native Madison designed to bring our community together—where innovators gather to Chat, Circle, and Connect. Through biweekly "Chat" sessions, monthly "Circle" deep dives, and quarterly "Connect" flagship events, we aim to spark conversations, explore emerging cloud-native trends, and build lasting professional relationships. This series will serve as our platform to reflect on past challenges, share actionable insights, and collaboratively shape the roadmap for 2025 in the cloud-native, DevOps, and security landscape.

  4. The CNCF Founded in 2015, the Cloud Native Computing Foundation

supports vital open source projects (Kubernetes, Prometheus, Envoy, and more). They also host major conferences and empower local groups—like us—across the globe. We share the CNCF’s goal: building strong cloud-native communities.
  5. Cloud native practices empower organizations to develop, build, and deploy

workloads in computing environments (public, private, hybrid cloud) to meet their organizational needs at scale in a programmatic and repeatable manner. It is characterized by loosely coupled systems that interoperate in a manner that is secure, resilient, manageable, sustainable, and observable. Cloud native technologies and architectures typically consist of some combination of containers, service meshes, multi-tenancy, microservices, immutable infrastructure, serverless, and declarative APIs — this list is non-exhaustive.
