SITE SECURITY & TIME LAPSE PRODUCTION CRL (Concrete Repairs Limited) were part of a major consortium tasked with replacing the Moreton North Bridge on the M53 on behalf of Highways England. THE CHALLENGE Construction site crime remains a major blight for the industry, with approximately 6000 break-ins per year, resulting in up to £800m of costs associated with equipment loss and project delays. CRL wanted to ensure that all value plant, materials and tools were secured at all times, as any loss of equipment or damage caused by trespass or vandalism could lead to costly delays. As traffic flow was being rerouted to facilitate the project, hitting all construction phase deadlines was critical for all parties. Additionally, given the project's scale, CRL was keen to produce a time lapse video to promote their involvement.
