Eldy Lazaro is a Peruvian designer and researcher with an MFA in Design from the University of California Davis. She was a resident at the Autodesk Technology Center in San Francisco, where she investigated the use of mycelium biocomposites for applications in product design and wearable technology using digital fabrication. Eldy is a Ph.D. student at the ATLAS Institute at CU Boulder and a member of the Unstable Design Lab and Living Matter Lab. Her research areas include interactive and sustainable design. She is currently investigating the use of bio-based conductive materials for applications in wearable technology and interactive objects.
