Haroon Hameed, M.D.

After earning a medical degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College, Haroon Hameed, MD, completed an internship in general surgery at St. John Hospital and Medical Center and SUNY Health Science Center in Brooklyn. Haroon Hameed, MD’s continuing education at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Maryland included a research fellowship in microsurgery and peripheral nerve regeneration, a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation, and a fellowship in anesthesia and pain medicine.

From 2014 to 2017, Dr. Hameed worked as an interventional pain management specialist and medical director at Kure Pain Management. In addition to performing procedures such as nerve blocks and platelet rich plasma (PRP) injections, he created an outpatient spinal cord stimulator implantation program.

Dr. Hameed currently serves as an interventional pain physician at Clearway Pain Solutions. He is also the founder and chief executive officer of Duality, LLC, a medical software company that created an interface that integrates with the application programming interfaces (APIs) of electronic medical record programs such as DrChrono and AthenaHealth. The program uses machine learning and artificial intelligence to support clinical decisions. In 2022, Dr. Hameed began working toward a master of business administration in machine learning from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
