I will be posting decks about my travels around the world.

Travelling is something that I have done for a very long time now, and I have enjoyed every second of it. Having travelled far and wide, and crafted plenty of slide shows to send to my family and friends, I thought it was about time that I shared some of my experiences with the world!

After heading on short holidays and trips when I was younger (mainly using cheap airport parking deals, student discounts and sleeping on sofas!) I decided to make it a full time fling! I have travelled to China, the Philippines, Fiji, New York, Seattle, and a lot of Europe too! My next to-go-to place is, of course, Africa! Here are some of my favourite locations:

- New York: What a beautiful and vibrant city New York is. The big apple will always have a place in my heart, and seeing it draped in snow was one of the most spiritual experiences of my life!

- Bali: The white sands and crashing waves of Bali are truly beautiful spectacles to see! I tried surfing for the first time while in Bali and it really was an amazing experience! I fell over a lot, but I did manage to stand up for a little bit in the end!

- Japan: While I often enjoy the more rural and beach side locations, the cities of Japan were truly spellbinding! The streets are lit with vibrant advertisements and littered with dozens of people.

My favourite location in the world? Home. While travelling is a wonderful experience, and while I love to explore different places and learn about different cultures, there really is nothing like home. I live in England, near the coast in Cornwall, and believe me it really is one of the most gorgeous places that you will ever see. The water, waves, sand dunes and cliff top views are absolutely beautiful! Plus, nothing beats being with your family!

I grew up in that part of England, and no matter what parts of the world I visit or what parts of it I am inspired by, I still think that it is one of the most wonderful places on Earth. Maybe it is because my family is there, maybe it is because childhood memories running over dunes and swimming in the sea are just too hard to beat. Either way, that is my favourite location.

I work as a blogger while I travel. It is a really great way to fund my travels and I enjoy writing dearly. I solo travel too, so I am never tied down to one place, person or lifestyle. It is quite liberating, but I think I might be on the last few years of travel now. I am approaching mid thirties and a home and career is beginning to sound more appealing. As well as being near my family!

So, take a look at some of my slides and enjoy seeing and experiencing the different locations around the world vicariously!
