9. OpenJDK Committers’ Workshop 1.5 days (10-11 August 2023) / Oracle Santa Clara Campus  Paid conference, no swag is provided.  No recording due to unconference.  Raise topics and work on each topic. Moderator of each topic is the person who raised it.

GraalVM Community Meetup 2 days (26-27 September 2023) / Oracle Labs Office, “The Circle” Zurich  Free, and no swag is provided.  State of each project in GraalVM, roadmap, and so on are provided.  Participants  framework developers/product managers (Spring Boot, Micronaut, Helidon, etc.)  Active community contributors
16. Devoxx Belgium  4.5 days (2-6 October 2023)  Kinepolis Antwerpen, Antwerp, Belgium  Paid conference, some swag is provided.  Session archives are available.  Might be the largest conference in EU.  Topic is not limited to Java.

19. FOSDEM 2 days (3-4 February 2024, 4-5 February 2023) / Université Libre De Bruxelles, Solbosch Campus  Free of charge, but you can purchase a hoodie / tee for donation.  You can join sessions in JVM track, contents level is like JVM Language Summit.

22. Why not ?  Indeed, flight ticket is too expensive, but…  You can improve your English (or/and French), maybe...  Most of EU residents are not native English speakers, so you might feel comfortable rather EU than US.  You can refreshen yourself with getting away from the daily work.  And...
