  2. Do your research. Talk to stakeholders. Talk to users. Talk

    to your developers. Focus. Research, inform, ask 1 Mr.  Craig  Tweedy
  3. Get away from your screen. Start on paper. Don’t restrict

    yourself. It doesn’t have to be ‘pretty’ Get creative. Sketch, scribble, throw away 2
  4. Now jump into <insert favourite tool> Pin down key interactions.

    Perfect your layouts. Create solid foundations for your design. You don’t have to reinvent the wheel. Refine the details 3
  5. You’ve got solid foundations, now make it ‘shine’ Choose colours

    wisely. Get inspired * Don’t overcompensate for shitty UX with overdone design. Be intuitive – do what feels and looks good. Polish the pixels. 4 * (that doesn’t mean stealing trendy ideas from dribbble!)
  6. It  doesn’t  need  to  be  made  out  of  leather.  

    But  it  should  at  least  make  sense.
