MeRo

Mel is a Software Engineer at the Financial Times working in the Developer Experience Team in a group who lovingly work on the FT's internal products. Before that she worked as a Creative Manager for the FT, where she built lots of customer email journeys. Mel is co-lead of Proud FT, the LGBTQ+ employee network and runs a regular Proud Reads event to create a safe space for colleagues to read together and feel empowered to discuss important topics openly. Mel was nominated as one of the Makers Top 50 Women in Software Power List and is passionate about creating and holding space for all her colleagues to truly be themselves at work.
