Mick Thompson has been developing code using open source tools for 10 years. He is passionate about open source, web applications, and api design. He has work almost exclusively for startups where building applications on new and innovative technologies is the norm. He has written a book for O'Reilly about Geo, Nodejs and CouchDB. Since location has become more available on mobile devices in the last few years he has focused his attention on enhancing existing projects with location.
