Submerged Memory

Set in a post-apocalyptic future, Earth is almost entirely underwater. Inspired by Microsoft’s Project Natick—where servers were submerged off the coast of Scotland—my story centers on an AI that returns to the planet to find the abandoned underwater data center that was crucial to its own creation.
