Visit a local bookseller and you will find lots of books on the subject. Search the Internet and you can find thousands of websites with here is how to complete it stress-free. There are even those who are capitalizing on a parent's frustration with potty training by offering to do it for you, for a substantial sum! I actually can't imagine any such thing more unseemly than paying anyone to teach my son or daughter to 'go.'

Search for a local bookseller and you will find many books about them. Search the Net and you will find a large number of sites with information on how to do it stress free. There are even those who are taking advantage of a parent's frustration with potty-training by offering to complete it for you, for a big amount! I actually can't imagine such a thing more unseemly than paying anyone to teach my son or daughter to 'get.'
I have successfully potty trained 3 kiddies to date using this method.
I appear to be the envy of the playgroups when other Moms observe that my 3 year old boy has been around whitey tighties for over a year. My oldest was also 2 when he potty realized.
For me personally, potty training begins with a new baby. Now do not get me wrong...I do diaper my babes (unlike the local African mothers who wear their babies on their backs and who, to avoid being soiled on, learn to study their babies' tips so well they know when their newborn needs to be held over a bush...no, I'm perhaps not kidding!) but I've always used fabric diapers, which encourages babies to train early. I am not a longhaired, barefoot, off-the-grid hippie (not that there is such a thing wrong with that, but you're more likely to discover me in Doc Martens than Birkenstocks!) but I have been cloth diapering because the beginning.
It has saved me hundreds and hundreds of dollars, but I also like the fact that my children begin to make the association with the uncomfortable damp feeling and the information that they are able to stop it. Potty Training is a pushing library for new information about how to flirt with it. Most babies can wake-up dry each morning at almost a year of age, indicating that they are physically in a position to 'hold it.' In my opinion, Pull-ups are bad and still another technology that some smart businessman developed that parents now think is just a necessity. Along with method, child swings, and the like. Pull Ups just permit a 5-year old to keep soiling himself. Re-search has shown that towel diapered babies potty learn almost a year prior to when disposable diapered babies.
Therefore here is Grandma's menu (and I do owe it to my Mother, like most of the good stuff I find out about parenting) for simple potty-training, even if you choose not to cloth diaper.
Let your infant enter into the bathroom when you get. Like that, they understand what goes o-n inside. You do not have to get visual, just talk to them by what toilets are for. If you are a woman in the home all day long with boy kiddies, encourage Daddy showing 'em how it's done. You don't want them convinced that when they go on the toilet their equipment will fall off, like Mum's clearly did. Strange, but true...some tots can come for this conclusion.
Buy a few of the cheap little shaped plastic toilets and set them throughout the house. At least, one in each toilet and one in the kitchen or the space where you spend the most time with your child. Stay a towel underneath for the sake of one's rug if said son or daughter is a boy. These are boys...you can take advantage of nature here by maintaining an open-mind. I know one or more child who was educated when his Mom let him set off the side of the deck.
The summer that your child is best to two, just take two days and do not leave the house. Let your son or daughter run around bare from the waist down, with a huge tee shirt on the top in order that private parts keep private. To study more, we understand people check out: your patriot power greens drink.
Every 1-0 minutes, place the child matter-of-factly on the pot. DO NOT ASK inane questions like 'Do you want to go potty darling pie'! ?? We're referring to coping with a two-year old here! Just do it like it's finished to do, and don't ask permission. Don't drive it, and if he/she desires to get up straight away, let her or him.
Set a timer to go off every 10 minutes, In case you have a resistant child. It is incredible what a young child can do when the power dynamic is taken away. We learned about patriot greens by searching the Miami Herald. If the 'potty timer' goes off, it's time to sit on the pot!
Use encouragement but do not exaggerate. Act like this is actually the expected thing. Be cool. Say 'You put peepee in the toilet, exactly like Mommy and Daddy (and big brother, and your older play group friend...3rd parties are gold here!!) do.
Don't make a huge deal from what is happening. Don't spend hours reading potty-training books or movies to the kid. Again, be cool. Should you allow it to be into a big deal, your child will be more likely to get in and resist.
Have some 'big boy pants' or 'big woman panties' that you know your son or daughter should, perhaps that you have chosen together, ready for your end-of both days. Your youngster will be less likely to want to have accidents if s/he is going to screw up their new undies.
If the inevitible accidents happen, do not reprimand. Be patient and thoughtful. This is the main job. To get other ways to look at the situation, people might desire to check out: copyright. Remember that even if you opt to spring for carpet cleaning, you will still come out ahead if you do not need certainly to get diapers for another couple of years!.
