As a seasoned technical writer, I understand the skepticism and fear surrounding the rise of AI. However, I firmly believe that AI can never replace the human touch and creativity that skilled technical writers bring to the table. Instead, AI can be harnessed as a powerful tool to enhance our work and enable us to create even more effective and compelling writings and documentation.

  7. Some technical writing roles will be automated. This is what

    tech is all about—it’s an evolving field.
  8. Continuously, new tools are introduced that automate certain aspects of

    your job on a daily basis. Without adapting and scaling your skills, it is possible that these tools will eventually automate the entire job, leaving you with limited or no role to perform.
  9. But as this happens, technical writing as a field will

    evolve requiring us to adapt to new forms and approaches.
