Mozilla's WebThings: Making Things Smarter!

With the advent of technology, privacy threats are also increasing. This presentation involves the use of IoT learnings and implementing them on to the web to create a secure, private and, simple way of getting started with Web Things application.

It focuses on how the data is not secure and can be exploited easily if not been taken care of.

3. What are Smart Things? @puja_purswani A home which you can communicate to via internet is a smart home and, smart things are all the devices which are included in making a smart home…a bulb for example.
4. How Do Things Communicate? @puja_purswani They store data on the cloud! And you never know when and who is going to get access to it. And keeping such personal information out there might cause some serious trouble for you.

11. Get your hands on a Raspberry Pi® /Turris Omnia router. It has WiFi, Bluetooth, GPIO and more built in. To use your gateway with other wireless protocols like ZigBee and Z-Wave you will need USB dongles.
