    answer a question on everyone’s mind.
  4. SEO metrics matter, but these explain only 4-7% of citations

    Across 1,311 pages, doubling SEO metrics yields only 25-40% more citations, there are diminishing returns The relationship is real (p<0.001) but weak: other factors like content quality drive ~93% of citation variance.
