  Discussion
・We divided into groups and had free discussions about
 the morning topics.
Second half (Awaji Island) Morning・Afternoon Each participant started their own project and presented it on the final day.

  3. Notable presentation, project with Watanabe-san Why does time feel the

way it does? Integrated Information Theory’s account of temporal experience Renzo Comolatti, Matteo Grasso and Giulio Tononi Based on Integrated Information Theory, The paper creates a cause-effects structure using how units connect and how likely they are to change, and explains four phenomenological features of time experience. The four phenomenological characteristics of temporal experience ・Directedness ・Directed Inclusion ・Directed Connection ・Directed Fusion Intercategorical qualia structure: Color and Facial expression This is hypothetical data.
  4. Impressions ・Highly skilled in discussion techniques The discussion went

smoothly, and within about two hours, members with different backgrounds (neuroscience, mathematics, philosophy, etc.) managed to turn brainstorming ideas into planning the experiment. Addressing topics→Understanding of the agenda→Development→Summary ・When thinking about the question of consciousness, I realized how little I understand about what could be limiting factors and how to describe phenomenological experiences effectively. I felt I needed to study more. I want to participate again after forming my own hypotheses about consciousness. ・Every day was challenging and I was exhausted. But I recovered from exhaustion, thanks to people’s kindness and the sauna. The participants were kind and listened sincerely, even to my imperfect English. ・I need to improve my English. It was a good experience to be able to talk about a wide range of topics, from daily conversation to academic discussions.
