2. Why Use RingCentral API ? •Send an SMS using our Messaging API. •Dial a number using Ringout using our Voice API. •Display a list of answering rules using our Call Management API •Create a team chat using our Glip API •Create a meeting using our Meetings API
3. Sending an SMS •SMS messages can be sent to or received from the handsets operated by most mobile carriers (all major US carriers are currently supported). Each SMS is a peer-to-peer message from one phone number to another.
4. Sending Images over SMS •One can send images and other files via SMS as well. •Doing so requires developers to POST to the sms endpoint using multipart form-data, or attachments.
