    LIMEX Purge 2 It is a material used to clean the inside of resin molding machines (injection molding machines, extruders etc). It removes residual old resin, colorants, and carbon deposits, assisting in material changeovers and defect prevention. Among many purging materials, “LIMEX Purge” contains more than 50 % inorganic components such as calcium carbonate (limestone), enabling reductions in plastic consumption and greenhouse-gas emissions (including CO2) compared with conventional plastics, while also achieving cost savings.   6. Product Introduction How to use LIMEX Purge (injection molding) Basic

    usage 01 02 To clean the cylinder/screw of an injection molding machine, set the molding conditions as shown in the table below and repeat metering and injection, after finishing the molding of preceding resin. After purging, switch to the molding conditions for the next resin. Once the temperature stabilizes, discharge LIMEX Purge G with the next resin. White streak-like residues of the purging material may remain. If residue is problematic, stop molding, reduce the metering volume as much as possible, pull the nozzle away from the mold, and perform repeated metering and injection for purging. *The calcium carbonate in LIMEX Purge is an inorganic material that causes far less metal wear than glass fillers (GF).
