  1. When the Tomato King is cursed with IBS from the

Banana Witch, he enlists the Royal Academy’s Culinary School students to cook him a bowl of chicken noodle soup. The young chef, Honey Crisp sets out to fulfill this goal; however, along the way, she has a moral dilemma once she meets the Onion Baby. He’s a sentient vegetable but he’s needed for the recipe. After their fateful meeting, Honey Crisp decides to fight the power, with help from pâtissier student Eclair.
  2. For my thesis, I wanted to do a storyboard-centric project.

Ever since I was young, I enjoyed watching all kinds of cartoons and films. Many left a lasting impact on me and inspired me to become an artist. When creating Fresh Quest, I wanted to take this opportunity to create something that harkens back to the media I grew up with. The target audience for my thesis is a preteen animated tv show. Much like Adventure Time, Steven Universe, and Gravity Falls. I strived to keep my designs simple, so I could redraw them within the boards, but also with a comedic flare. Fresh Quest is first and foremost a comedy, thus I want my designs and boards to reflect that. I also want this story to make light of some hardships I endured when I was younger and currently. I’ve always struggled with food and stomach disorders so I thought it would be a fun concept to play with. In the end, I want audiences to have fun with this project and maybe some can relate to this silly little world I’ve created.
