Treat your career like you treat your product

Treat your career like you treat your product

This presentation was given at MTP Engage Hamburg on 24th May 2019.

In work, we focus on making sure we craft a vision for our product, that we understand the market and we make sure our products met user needs. We measure, learn and iterate them too. With our careers, seemingly many of us just take opportunities that are presented to them by random, luckily timed LinkedIn messages. We wouldn't manage our products by serendipity; why our careers? This talk is about how to structure your career development using tools and techniques we're already familiar with, so that you can intentfully have the career path you want.
