He graduated from Michigan State University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience, complemented by studies in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Throughout his academic career, AJ consistently appeared on the dean's list, reflecting his dedication to his studies. His foray into entrepreneurship began in his sophomore year when he co-founded Above 10 Landscaping LLC.

Based in Plymouth, Michigan, Above 10 Landscaping has carved out a significant presence in the community, servicing over 50 clients annually throughout Wayne County. As the driving force behind the company, AJ leads two four-person crews that handle a comprehensive range of landscaping services. These services include essential yard maintenance like hedge trimming and weeding and more intricate tasks such as sprinkler system installation, hardscaping, and creating decorative elements.

AJ's commitment to transforming his clients' outdoor areas into beautiful, functional spaces is evident in every project. He oversees the design and execution phases, ensuring each job is completed to the highest standard. This dedication to quality and service has helped Above 10 Landscaping build a stellar reputation, with much of its new business coming from referrals.

AJ's love for the outdoors extends beyond his professional life. He has been passionate about board sports since childhood, engaging in wake surfing, skateboarding, and snowboarding. In high school at Catholic Central High School in Novi, Michigan, AJ excelled academically and athletically. He achieved a high GPA and was a standout member of the basketball team, where he played as point guard and co-captain. His early work experience at Meadows Fine Wine and Liquor gave him a taste of business operations, from inventory management to customer service.

Beyond his business, AJ is deeply committed to community service. He has spent several summers coaching basketball at Get Skillz Basketball, teaching young players essential sports skills and teamwork. He also volunteers at Hoopdrillz Basketball Academy and St. Mary’s Montessori, where he helps foster a supportive environment for personal and athletic growth.

AJ's community involvement reached a global scale in March 2024 when he traveled to Jamaica with volunteers to assist 300 locals with essential services and support, demonstrating his commitment to making a positive impact locally and internationally.
