Alexander Schifter

Alexander Schifter has built a career by combining financial expertise with entrepreneurial leadership. As a fractional CFO consultant at Centripetal Advisors, he partners with enterprise SaaS startups to improve strategic planning, optimize revenue operations, and support sustainable growth. His experience as both an operator and investor allows him to deliver practical guidance that aligns finance with business execution.

Alexander regularly works alongside founders navigating rapid expansion, helping them strengthen financial models, capital strategies, and operational performance. Having launched and managed businesses himself, he understands the realities of scaling a company. He also invests in selected client ventures, reflecting confidence in the businesses and leadership teams he advises.

Alexander became the owner and CEO of XO Espresso Bar in 2022 after acquiring the Miami-based specialty coffee business through investor financing. He oversees every major aspect of the company, including budgeting, FP&A, procurement, payroll, human resources, and long-term expansion. His leadership has positioned the brand for continued growth throughout South Florida.

Alexander has expanded XO Espresso Bar beyond its original cafés by introducing wholesale operations and pursuing franchise opportunities. The company continues adding premium locations, including a new luxury Miami Beach site. He also secured an exclusive consulting and coffee-supply partnership with the French pastry brand Yann Couvreur, strengthening the company's regional presence.

Alex Schifter co-founded Hello Arthur in 2021 to simplify purchasing for healthcare providers through a direct medical and dental supply marketplace. Named after his grandfather Arthur Schifter, the business honored a family commitment to healthcare service. After scaling the company to six-figure revenue, he chose to close operations and concentrate fully on growing XO Espresso Bar.

Alexander began his investment banking career at AGC Partners following internships with Consilium Partners and Piper Jaffray. There he supported technology mergers and acquisitions by preparing valuation models, pitch materials, management presentations, and transaction analyses. His responsibilities also included working closely with executives and strategic buyers throughout complex advisory engagements.

Alexander continued developing his investment banking expertise at DCA, where he advanced to Associate and contributed to numerous technology transactions. His experience covered sell-side advisory, capital raises, financial modeling, valuation analysis, and industry research. He also participated in significant transactions involving Constructive Media, ListenFirst Media, and Metrological.

Alexander later joined Pharus Advisors before serving as Vice President of Technology Growth Equity at Trousdale Capital Management. In these roles, he evaluated software investment opportunities, completed due diligence, prepared investment memorandums, analyzed KPIs, and collaborated with executive leadership teams to support strategic investment decisions and portfolio growth.

Alexander Schifter earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a Minor in Entrepreneurial Leadership Studies from Tufts University, where he competed for six seasons on the NCAA varsity cross-country and track-and-field teams. He also supports charitable organizations through fundraising, volunteer work, and donations benefiting cancer research, ALS programs, Habitat for Humanity, Yehudi, and Chabad of Midtown Miami.
