A short cold open about a girl who is trying to make the classic Filipino dessert, leche flan.

2. Eva studies a small notebook which looked like a small cookbook with ingredients scribbled in it.
4. A messy kitchen counter covered with ingredients
5. On the counter sits a bowl, eggs, a can of condensed milk, evaporated milk, sugar and a whisk

7. Eva stands at the counter, focused. She takes a deep breath
10. EVA : Okay…leche flan. yeah kaya rani, (Okay..leche flan. Yeah I can do this,)
11. EVA : dali ra ni— pariha ra permi ingnon ni mami gud. (it'll be quick— just like what mom always says.)
12. MONTAGE - Eva tries to prepare a leche flan
13. Eva cracks an egg. it slips and splats on the counter,
16. Eva opens a can of condensed milk. it pops and splashes on her face.
19. She pours the evaporated milk in the bowl without measuring, which makes the bowl dangerously full.
22. Eva then whisks the mixture aggressively, which makes the batter sloshes over the bowl
25. She pours sugar into a pan on the stove
26. and cranks the stove to HIGH.
27. she watches it melt..then it turns to brown and then to black.
30. Smoke covers the room,
31. Eva coughs and waves the smoke out of the kitchen through the window.
32. END MONTAGE
33. Eva stares at her leche flan and then to her small cook book, dejected.
36. EVA: Teka…murag mali ni- (Wait…I think this is wrong-)
37. EVA: nganu- waaaiit..wait wait… (why- waaaiit..wait wait…) She looks back at her small cookbook and then skims everything
38. EVA: Sakto man! ako man gyud gi sunod, word by word! (But it's right! I followed everything, word by word!)
39. EVA: nganu..sunog siyaa…hmmm? (so why is it…burnt…hmmm?)
40. Then a phone call rings through out the kitchen and it was her phone,
41. she picks it up and checks it to see it was Tammi, she answers the phone call.
42. EVA: Morning Tam...
43. On screen - a guy appears on the video call, who is known as Tam or Tammi. TAMMI: Hoy Eva, okay raka diha? naka kita kog asu sa inyo bag o lang- (Hey Eva, you okay there? I just saw smoke at your place just now-)
44. Tammi notices the obvious distress on Eva's face. TAMMI: ah…unsay na hitabo? okay ra gyud ka diha? (Ah…What happened? are you actually okay there?)
46. EVA: ni suway kog buhat ug leche flan pero of course…di mao, sig ka mali, hay. (I tried making leche flan but of course…mishaps, it kept going wrong, hay.)
47. TAMMI: Ahh…mao diay..sa imoha diay gikan ang "haling"… (Ahh…That's why…the "haling" came from your house…)
48. TAMMI: sayuha sad nimo ga leche flan oi. (why are you making leche flan so early?) Eva sulks harder.
49. EVA: Akong parents mu uli naman gud sila- UGMA NA MO ULI ,GIKAN GAWAS! (My parents are coming home- AND FROM A DIFFERRENT COUNTRY, TOMORROW!)
50. TAMMI: mosuway diay kag pangutana sa imong mama?- (Why not try asking your mom?-)
51. EVA: NO! aaahh ganahan ta ko mo surprise nila so dili pwede ingnon nako sila! ug PARA ma wow sila sad sa akoa ba… (NO! aaahh I wanted to surprise them so I'm not telling them! and SO that they'll be impressed with me, you know..?)
52. Tammi looks at her through the call, his expression barely changes until he sighed. TAMMI: Mangutana diay ka sa akong mama? (What about asking my mom?)
53. EVA: Ayaw oi, mauwaw tang ni tita, busy biya siya sa inyong business. (Oh no!, i don't wanna burden tita because she's busy with your family business.)
54. TAMMI: hay tuo man ka ana oi pero sige nlang gud … (Oh puh-leaaasseee…like you'll be a burden to her, )
55. TAMMI: …mo anha nalang ko. ( nevermind I'm coming over. )
56. EVA: HUH? unsay mo anhi ka——. (HUH? what do you mean——.)
57. The call was hung up by Tammi and before Eva could even react.
58. AT TAMMI’S HOUSE, Tammi gets the apron from the kitchen where his mom is making cakes.
61. TAMMI: Ma, naa ra ko ila Eva. (Mom, I’ll be at Eva’s) MOM: Sige nak, pag amping. (Okay Tammi, take care.)
62. A knock by the main door can be heard.
63. Eva walks towards the door and opens it, to see Tammi, bandana on and holding what seems to be an apron.
65. EVA: Wha- bai- dalia ra nimo naka anhi- (Wha- how are you so fast-)
66. Tammi smells the air in her house and looks at her with an expressionless look.
68. And immediately goes to her kitchen, he sees the mess, and his hand immediately goes to cover his mouth. TAMMI: wa gabae nimo Eva, gi unsa mani nimo inyong kusina?! (Oh my god Eva, what did you do to your kitchen?!)
69. EVA: OKAY so ingani na diay ta ha? ni anhi ra gyud sa akong balay para lang mo hukom? (OKAY so that's how it is, you come to my house to judge me?)
70. TAMMI: Nakakita ko sa smoke ganiha, abi nako naay sunog, dayon sa imoha ra diay tong "leche flan", na worry pa si mom sa imoha. (I saw smoke and I thought it was fire but that was just your "Leche flan", mom was worried.)
71. Tammi then checks at the Leche flan that Eva made.
72. TAMMI: dayon tan awa gud ning "leche flan" nimo, mura naman nig uling, ang maka kaon ra guro ani sa? sigbin sa kalibunan. (and now look at your "leche flan", only a sigbin from the deep forest will eat this charcoal.)
73. Eva immediately goes silent and then starts scratching her neck with a small chuckle. EVA: kay ano man…nag buhat lage kog leche flan.. (Yeaahh…but I was making leche flan..)
74. TAMMI: "leche flan" ba ni? sige lang first time man sad nimo.. (This is your "leche flan"? well there's a first for everything…)
75. EVA: yeah…hahaha… Tammi watches her, barely any change of his expression but there was a hint of disappoinment.
77. He wears his apron on and ties it with a cute bow.
78. TAMMI (O.S.): Maynalang gyud na ni ari ko, dali sugod nata, (Cmoonn let's start, It's a good thing that I'm here, )
79. TAMMI: kay kulbaan ko da na sunod, e prito nya ni nimo ang leche flan. (I'm afraid you might fry the leche flan next time.)
80. TAMMI: kay kulbaan ko da na sunod, e prito nya ni nimo ang leche flan. (I'm afraid you might fry the leche flan next time.)
81. Tammi puts his foot on a small chair and raises a fist. while Eva watches from the side.
82. TAMMI: Tabangan tika para ig abot nila tita ug tito maghilak to silas sa kalami. (Now cmon, I'll help you make this so that when tita and tito arrive, they'll cry of how good it is.)
83. Eva pauses, slightly disturbed by his behavior. Then laughs it off anyway.
84. EVA: Bantay ha, kong di gani..aw mo ingon lang ko nila, na gikan nimo way lami ang leche flan. (You better, cause if it's not, I'll just tell them that it's because of you, the leche flan sucks)
85. TAMMI: Uh huh, pero kong maka kita silang tita ug tito ani, maka pangutana na sila nimo, na unsa naman ning kusina nimo. (Uh huh, but when tita and tito sees the state of the kitchen, they're gonna ask what happened.)
86. Tammi takes a pic of the mess in Eva's kitchen. Eva was too late too react when Tammi has already took the pic.
87. EVA: HOY! DELETE NA, GARA GARA MAN KA NOON- (HEY! DELETE THAT, TAMS I SWEAR-)
88. TAMMI: bahala ka, diri sa ni nako. gi na oi mang limpyo sa ta para mag sugod nata. (Nope, it's mine, now hurry up, let's start cleaning so we can start).
