Andrew Lake

Andrew Lake is a recent graduate who works as Research and Development Manager at Lakefront Development Group. In this role, he is responsible for conducting market research and detailed analysis that supports commercial real estate development in the Pittsburgh and South Florida markets. He also creates and applies strategies to identify and take advantage of new investment and development opportunities. His skill set includes financial analysis, market research, project management, client relations, and quality management systems, which he applies to his professional responsibilities.

Andy Lake earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Entrepreneurship with a concentration in Finance from the University of South Florida. During his academic career, he received the Green and Gold Scholars Award in 2020, which was awarded to first-year out-of-state students who demonstrated strong academic performance. While studying, he was a dedicated member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity for four years. As Ritual Chair, he upheld the organization's values while also leading fundraising activities that supported the Huntsman Cancer Institute, reflecting his dedication to service and leadership.

His earlier education highlighted both academic achievement and athletics. At Marshall Middle School, Lake earned a place on the Honor Roll during the 2014–2015 school year. At North Allegheny Senior High School, he balanced academics with sports and received multiple Scholar Athlete Awards for football, basketball, and lacrosse. He further developed his leadership skills through participation in Summer’s Best Two Weeks Camp, where he was recognized for his work ethic, positive influence, and encouragement of others. He graduated from high school with a 3.6 GPA, was recognized as a multi-year Scholar-Athlete, and was a finalist for the John Rullan Lacrosse Scholarship in 2020.

His professional path began early with an internship at SRI Quality System Registrar in Wexford. There, Andrew became the youngest in company history to earn an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certificate after completing a two-month training program with SAE International. His responsibilities included participating in quality management audits and developing improved communication processes between clients and internal scheduling teams. He also gained valuable customer service and problem-solving experience through earlier roles at The Toy House and Emporio Restaurant.

He is proficient in Microsoft Office, has foundational knowledge of Python programming, and speaks basic Spanish. His community service includes volunteering with the Miracle League, an organization that gives children with disabilities the chance to experience the game of baseball in an inclusive environment.

Andrew was born in Marietta, Georgia, and values time with his family, which includes four siblings, a niece, and a nephew. In his personal life, he enjoys golfing with a 14 handicap and also spends time playing basketball and football with his siblings. He has interests in traveling, fishing, cooking, and aviation, having taken lessons during high school.

As he continues to grow in his career, Andrew Lake plans to pursue a commercial real estate license and expand his professional opportunities in the South Florida market.
