Andrew Sever

Andrew Sever, Sumsub co-founder and CEO, formerly worked as a C-suite manager at several leading automotive and IT firms, and he holds a degree in theoretical physics. With a background in sales, he now oversees and orchestrates all departments, while retaining a passion for HR-related tops. Founded in 2015, under Mr. Sever’s management Sumsub has grown into leading global verification platform with more than 750 employees, eight international offices, and over 4,000 clients across 220 territories and countries. The industries already adopting Sumsub’s innovative solution include crypto, fintech, gaming, transportation, and trading.

Mr. Sever is a seasoned sportsman, with several Ironman and Oceanman tournaments under his belt. He is an experienced cyclist and enjoys motorsport. Both sporting events and work commitments offer Mr. Sever plenty of opportunities to travel, which is something he enjoys; from Singapore to South Africa. He also enjoys reading non-fiction books, particularly on the subject of neuroscience. Mr. Sever lives between Limassol and London.
