Benjamin Wey

Benjamin Wey is the founder and CEO of New York Global Group (NYGG), a private equity and strategic advisory firm based in Miami, Florida. Born in Tianjin, China, he has spent more than 20 years working across US and Chinese capital markets, focusing on cross-border investment between the world’s two largest economies.

He began his finance career in Oklahoma in the late 1990s, moved to New York City in 2000, and founded NYGG as an investment banking and advisory firm with offices in New York and Beijing. The firm’s work covers market entry strategy, debt and equity financing, and cross-border M&A advisory.

Benjamin Wey speaks on trade, investment flows and market access between the United States and China. His commentary has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Fox Business and TheStreet.
