7. What we want to do BoostDraft’s journey began with a mission to eliminate deep-seated inefficiencies in the world of contract drafting and review. Our co-founder Make experts focus on their core mission. Hiroshi Watanabe, a practicing lawyer, saw the need for change firsthand. While studying in the U.S., he met Yohei Fujii, a former engineer, who was stunned by what he saw: a lawyer trapped in a tedious cycle of endless scrolling and searching just to review a single contract. "Why not solve this with an smart editor(IDE), like we do in programming?" That one question sparked the concept of an "Smart editor for Legal." Yohei Fujii CEO （2021/4 - 2026/01） He holds a Master of Computer Science from Kyoto University. After conducting research on cryptography and secure AI at NTT Basic Research Laboratories, he joined Bain & Company, where he led mid-term management and product strategy projects across Japan, the U.S., and India.
