Craig Fernsler

Craig Fernsler has more than 35 years of experience in commercial real estate, investment strategy, and long-term wealth preservation. As a Realtor and Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), he works with clients on commercial and investment property decisions while focusing on profitability, tax efficiency, asset growth, and financial stability.

Craig's career has been shaped by hands-on experience in real estate as both an advisor and an investor. He has negotiated transactions, managed properties, evaluated risk, and structured deals from personal experience. Because of this, he understands the practical responsibilities that come with property ownership and investment decisions. His work includes single-family investment homes, apartment buildings, retail strip centers, development land, and vacation properties. Through each area, he has focused on helping clients improve cash flow and build long-term wealth.

A major part of his work involves complex real estate and tax strategies. He has helped investors with 1031 Exchanges, Cost Segregation Strategies, Installment Sales, Delaware Statutory Trusts (DSTs), Deferred Sales Trusts, and NNN net-leased retail property transactions. Since these strategies can be difficult for many investors, he works to explain them clearly and in practical terms.

Craig's personal investment background began with his first investment property purchase in 1989. Since that time, he has personally bought and sold approximately $19.3 million in commercial and investment real estate. He has also owned and operated multiple limited liability companies tied to his investment ventures. Since 2000, he has bought and developed several hundred acres of land across multiple counties and two states for brokerage purposes and personal investments. These experiences have helped him understand financing issues, ownership demands, market value changes, full-time responsibility, and financial requirements.

Craig's professional service includes leadership within CCIM. In 2015, he served as Vice President of the Mid-Atlantic Region for CCIM International and as a member of its International Board of Directors. In 2012, he served as President of the PA/NJ/DE CCIM Chapter. He also continues to serve on the CCIM National Government Affairs Committee, the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors Board of Directors, and works as a Real Estate Instructor. He holds Series 22 and 63 securities licenses as well.

Outside of work, he supports One House At A Time (Beds for Kids), the Boy Scouts of America, the Boys & Girls Club of Philadelphia, and the Animal Coalition of Delaware County. He is also a long-time member of the Masonic Lodge and serves as a trustee in his church. He enjoys time with his wife of many years, their two adult sons, and the family’s Golden Doodle. He is also an avid golfer and holds a scuba diving certification.
