David Shane is a seasoned public relations professional and strategist in Los Angeles, California. In 1999, David joined Comcast in Philadelphia, where he quickly rose. Initially serving as Director of Communications, he developed a regional corporate communications model that was later adopted across the company. This success led to his promotion to Vice President of Communications and Original Programming in 2001. In this role, he became the primary spokesperson for Comcast's largest operating division, which generated $8 billion in annual revenue and employed over 18,000 people.

Following his achievements at Comcast, David moved to ICM Partners in 2005 as Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications. He was responsible for managing global media relations and government affairs and supporting the agency's philanthropic efforts there. He worked closely with senior leadership to ensure effective communication across all divisions.

In 2008, David transitioned to Hewlett-Packard, where he served as Vice President of Global Corporate External Communications. At HP, he managed external communications for mergers and acquisitions, digital strategy, and government affairs. He played a significant role in overseeing communications for mergers valued at nearly $20 billion.

David later joined Relativity Media in 2012 as Executive Vice President and Chief Communications Officer. At Relativity, he led corporate communications across the company's divisions, which included theatrical, television, sports, music, and branded entertainment.
In 2017, David founded Resolution Communications, his advisory firm, where he serves as President and CEO. His firm specializes in corporate positioning and issues management, helping companies navigate the complex world of public relations. He continues to work with leading companies, providing tailored strategic advice and solutions to address their communication needs.

In addition to his professional work, David is a guest lecturer at New York University, where he teaches communications. He is passionate about mentoring the next generation of professionals and sharing insights on the evolving media landscape.
