  1. What is a Goal? A goal is an aim or

objective that you’d love to achieve within a certain time. An ideal goal should cover the what, the purpose, and the systems you intend to put in place to achieve that aim or objective.
  2. Yes, your goals must be as specific as possible. Imagine

if you just decided to start a career in tech, and you choose Web Development as your proposed speciality. Of course, the general idea is to become a web developer. But the specifics in this case should be understand the basics of HTML & CSS in 1 month. Dive into the basics on JavaScript in 2 months. Be able to build simple web pages using HTML, CSS and JavaScript in 3 months instead of become a web developer in 3 months. Then after this, break it down to what these basics are. Is it being able to style a page, completing the curriculum on freeCodeCamp, etc. The more you break it down, the better. Speci fi c!
  3. With a specific goal like “Learn the basics of HTML

and CSS in one month” and not “become a web developer in 1 month”, you can easily measure your goals.

When selecting a goal like “become … in … month”, you should have decided what you need to do to achieve this.

And with that, you can easily measure if you were able to achieve that goal or not. Measurable!
  4. As much as we encourage ourselves to aim high, it

is very important to always be realistic.

You can’t be a senior web developer in 3 months. So, setting a goal to be a senior web developer is not achievable. Aim for achievable goals so you don't end up feeling devastated because you couldn’t achieve a goal when in truth that gaol was impossible. Achievable!
  5. The idea is to become a web developer.

So you should only set goals relevant to it like learning, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Reactjs, etc. And not, Flutter or C++.

Your goals should always be relevant to what you want to achieve. Relevant!
  6. Time-bound goals are the best.

 Instead of saying

I want to become this, say I want to become this in … months or years.

When you set time-bound goals, you can keep yourself accountable and also have an opportunity to improve on them or change them based on your findings. Time-bound!
  7. • Changes that seem small and unimportant at fi rst

will compound into remarkable results if you’re willing to stick with them for years . • If you believe you can or can’t, you are right . • Successful people feel the same lack of motivation as everyone else. The difference is that they still fi nd a way to show up despite the feelings of boredom.   • Until you work as hard as those you admire, don’t explain away their success as luck . • You have to believe it in your mind fi rst, then it begins to manifest. I need you to remember that …
  8. Conclusion You still have 11 more months in 2022. Go

and excel! If someone else could do it, so can you! Your life can change in a month, 6 months or a year. You just need to believe and work towards that goal
