Dr. Neil Ross

Neil Evan Ross, MD, has built a career that combines clinical medicine with business leadership in the healthcare field. He is a physician with a background in anesthesiology, medical operations, and healthcare leadership. A graduate of Tulane University and the Tulane University School of Medicine, Dr. Neil Ross has been instrumental in creating and managing anesthesia groups, including Summit Anesthesia and Pinnacle Anesthesia Consultants. He is currently based in Boca Raton, Florida, where he leads Diabetic Practice Solutions LLC.

Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Neil began his education at Ida Crown Jewish Academy. After completing high school, he moved to New Orleans to attend Tulane University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He continued at the same institution for medical school, completing his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1986. His early academic path prepared him for a demanding and practical career in the field of medicine.

Upon completing his medical degree, Neil started a surgical internship at Boston University Medical Center. The experience gave him exposure to high-stakes medical situations and helped him understand the urgency and complexity of hospital care. After finishing the internship, he returned to New York and entered a residency program in anesthesiology at New York University Medical Center. His continued interest in the field led him to complete a fellowship in cardiac anesthesia at NYU, allowing him to work closely with advanced surgical procedures and refine his medical skills.

In 1990, Neil joined Sheridan Healthcare in Hollywood, Florida. He remained with the group until 1996, serving as Director of Cardiac Anesthesia during his tenure. He also contributed to the organization's broader initiatives, such as new contract development and regional support. While focusing on his clinical responsibilities, Neil also became increasingly involved in administrative tasks like billing systems, staff scheduling, and compliance measures, which laid the groundwork for his future in healthcare management.

Neil moved to New Jersey in 1996 and became a partner at Summit Anesthesia Associates. The practice provided anesthesia services to several hospitals, including Mountainside Hospital and Trinitas Regional Medical Center. By 1999, Neil assumed the role of managing member. His responsibilities expanded to include contract negotiations, staff hiring, provider relations, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role strengthened his leadership within the clinical and operational aspects of healthcare delivery.

In 2008, Neil established Pinnacle Anesthesia Consultants in Livingston, New Jersey. As owner, he took on full responsibility for managing anesthesia services at a surgery center, including clinical coverage and contract management. The practice experienced steady growth, generating more than three million dollars in annual revenue. He remained involved in direct patient care, emergencies, and provider supervision until 2012, when a serious stroke forced him to retire from clinical practice.

Four years later, in 2016, Neil began working with Omniscient Financial LLC, a family-owned and operated business. His contributions included advising on equipment financing and maintaining financial compliance. He remained with the company until 2024, applying his experience in operations and risk management.

In 2024, Neil turned his attention to Diabetic Practice Solutions LLC. The business was designed to help healthcare providers deliver structured diabetes care while maintaining efficiency and meeting administrative standards. Neil’s role involved improving patient outcomes and guiding practices toward stronger financial performance.
