Elliott Allan Hilsinger, 49, has dedicated much of his life to entrepreneurship, with a strong focus on creating businesses that positively impact individuals and communities. He began his academic journey at the University of Cincinnati, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing from the Carl H. Lindner College of Business in 1995. After completing his education, he immediately turned his attention to the business world, driven by a passion for entrepreneurship and a desire to make a difference.
Over the years, he launched several small businesses, successfully growing and managing them before selling them. This cycle of creating and scaling businesses continued for nearly a decade, during which he gained valuable experience in market research, business development, and management. His entrepreneurial journey was marked by a constant drive to improve and innovate, always looking for new exploration opportunities.
In 2009, Elliott’s life took an unexpected turn when he became a victim of identity theft. This experience served as a wake-up call, making him realize the vulnerabilities in personal data protection. Recognizing a critical gap in the industry, he decided to take action, dedicating himself to helping others avoid the same fate. This new focus led him to create Guard Well Identity Theft Solutions in 2011; a company committed to providing robust and affordable identity theft protection for households across the United States.
Elliott founded Guard Well, a leading provider of identity protection services, focusing on offering solutions through employee benefits programs. Under his leadership, the company has expanded its reach and become a trusted name in the industry, helping businesses safeguard their employees' personal information. As CEO since 2012, he has worked relentlessly to improve and expand Guard Well’s offerings, ensuring that identity theft protection is accessible to all.
Elliott has become a recognized expert in identity theft prevention throughout his career, frequently sharing his knowledge in industry publications and media outlets. He has played an instrumental role in shaping Guard Well’s mission, striving to protect families and businesses from the damaging effects of identity theft. His leadership and vision have earned the company multiple awards and accolades for its efforts in securing personal information.
Beyond his business achievements, Elliott is deeply committed to giving back to his community. He founded the "Guard Well Gives Back" program to help nonprofit organizations achieve their donation goals. Additionally, he created the "COPS Program" (Covering Officer's Personal Security), which offers discounted memberships to law enforcement officers, with a portion of the proceeds donated to law enforcement charities. Similarly, he launched the "VETS Program," offering discounts to active and retired military members and donating part of the proceeds to veteran-focused organizations.
Elliott’s passion for community extends to his personal life, where he avidly coaches youth sports, particularly water sports. He is dedicated to mentoring young athletes and instilling in them the values of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. His involvement in coaching reflects his belief in the importance of giving back and positively impacting the next generation.
Elliott Allan Hilsinger continues to lead Guard Well Identity Theft Solutions, which is focused on growing the company and expanding its reach. His work as an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and mentor reflects his commitment to improving the lives of others and creating a safer, more secure environment for individuals and businesses alike.
