His military service began in 1995 when he enlisted in the U.S. Army as an infantryman. During his time with the 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions, he maintained jump status for over 10 years, completing 82 jumps and earning Master Parachutist Wings. He led ground forces in Operation Iraqi Freedom and across multiple deployments to Afghanistan, directing tactical movements, capturing enemy combatants, and managing extended missions under complex conditions.

He served as a Battalion Operations Officer and Executive Officer in the 82nd Airborne Division, leading units of 830 and 770 personnel. His performance in logistics, aviation support, intelligence planning, and training earned him multiple Bronze Stars for his contributions in combat operations.

In the later phase of his military career, he took on strategic assignments at the Pentagon. He worked on the Office of the Secretary of Defense Staff, Joint Staff, and Army Staff. As Deputy Director and Chief of the Assessments Branch, he led capability evaluations across multiple branches. In his role as Director of Joint Integration, he supported close combat initiatives and helped secure funding for research, equipment, and training programs.

After retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel, he transitioned to civilian roles in business development and nonprofit leadership. He continues to serve in areas supporting defense and veteran initiatives.
