Ethan Ruby, Esq., is a New York attorney and licensed independent insurance adjuster with a concentration in labor law, insurance defense, and high-exposure claims. He built his academic and professional foundation through studies at the Bronx High School of Science, Binghamton University, and the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. He currently works as a Senior Claim Specialist at National Claim Services, where he manages complex claims through litigation, mediation, and strategic risk transfer. He also holds licenses in real estate, notary services, and insurance adjusting.

Born in 1995 and raised on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, he grew up in a multicultural household with dual citizenship in the United States and France. His parents ran a hospitality business in New York City, and their example of persistence and leadership shaped his early view of responsibility and professional drive.

While in high school, Ethan participated in sports and was a member of the school’s state champion mock trial team. He began college in New Orleans, where he took part in mentorship programs for boys who had lost their fathers. He later transferred and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, and Law in December 2017.

Before starting law school, Attorney Ethan Ruby worked as a paralegal at a Wall Street immigration firm and interned at the New York County Supreme Court. These experiences introduced him to legal procedures and casework. During law school, he participated in the mediation clinic, served as an Associate Editor of a legal journal, and completed internships with public-interest and legal-aid organizations.

After passing the New York Bar in 2021, he began his legal career focusing on labor law, negligence defense, and insurance litigation. He worked on personal injury cases, handled discovery, drafted motions, and negotiated with insurance carriers. In 2023, he moved into a role handling high-exposure labor law and tort claims involving complex legal and factual issues.

Since September 2024, he has led claims involving labor law, property damage, and construction incidents. Ethan Ruby continues to bring legal insight, professionalism, and thoughtful strategy to each matter he oversees.
