  1. POTS - An FMP Project Contents: - Game Pillars -

Game Mechanics - Executive Summary / Elevator Pitch - Story Synopsis - Finalized Assets
  2. Game Pillars: Pillar 1 - AI Movement Pillar 3 -

Puzzles Pillar 2 - Multitasking Pillar 4 - Kicking In POTS, the characters all move by themselves, as keeping up with and controlling them is central to the gameplay. Similar AI movement has been seen in games like Minecraft, Terraria and GTA V. As well as the puzzle of having to manage many plants at once, the levels in POTS will include puzzles, that may include things such as activating buttons with various pots, and having to use pots as a leg-up to reach difficult areas. The main difficulty in POTS is the amount of different characters you have to manage simultaneously. The large number of characters that I plan to develop means that the gameplay will be incredibly chaotic, and likely frustrating & challenging The main way to move the pots in the game is to kick them and make them go flying across a room. This is quite a comical way to move the pots, and will give instant feedback to the players, hopefully lowering the frustration that the characters moving wherever they please will likely cause.
  3. Game Mechanics Here are some of the mechanics I have

added into the game: - Movement: There is some basic movement in the game that allows the player to traverse the level. - Kicking: There is a system that affects how much force and what angle the plant pot is flung from depending on your kick, and where you are compared to the plant pot. - Glasses: There is a pair of glasses that lets you see certain things and information but only if you’re wearing it, that are used to explain concepts to the player. - Herding: The plants will move away from you if you run towards them from the right angle.
  4. Executive Summary/ Elevator Pitch Executive Summary: Pots is a game

with an engaging story, a variety of marketable & interesting characters and a rewarding gameplay loop. It follows in the path of other successful games, such as Slime Rancher, Overcooked and Roblox, and could potentially grow to the size of these games. Elevator Pitch: Pots is a physics-based, chaotic experience where you, the employee, work for a large company and your job is to escort the face of the brand, The Pot Team, to their next gig as the face of the brand. The problem? The pots are in a funny mood, and won't budge easily. Kick, shove, and brute-force them until they can't resist anymore in this playful puzzle game designed to cause absolute carnage as you sit through your personal multitasking hell.
  5. Story Synopsis: You stumble across a deep pipe nestled deep

into the ground, with smoke coming out of it. After sitting and watching the smoke pile out for around ten minutes, you realize there is some sort of facility down there, and you slowly crawl down the tunnel. The facility belongs to POTS CORP, a company known for their companion-like robotic plant pots that attempt to be as lifelike as possible. In an attempt to create an unbelievably powerful plant pot, they channeled too much power into one pot, instantly destroying the facility and making all the plants sentient.
  6. Finalized assets: I have created a few finalized assets already,

and will be creating more & uploading them to my blog. Here are two of my currently completed assets:
