His professional background includes experience in HR management, recruiting, industry partnerships, business development, financial reporting, capital budgeting, strategic planning and analysis, capital markets, regulatory compliance, and investment valuation. He joined UCW as an instructor in the MBA program and later advanced to the rank of Associate Professor. In 2021, he assumed the role of Chair, reporting directly to the VP of Academics. During his term, student enrollment and faculty numbers grew by more than ten times by December 2024. He oversaw three undergraduate programs: the Associate of Arts, the Bachelor of Commerce (ACBSP-accredited), and the Bachelor of Arts in Business Communications. These programs served more than 5,500 students and involved over 200 faculty members. He was a voting member of several committees, including Senate, Curriculum, Governance and Strategic Policies, Quality Assurance and Standards, Admissions Appeals, and Undergraduate Program Working Committees. He completed the consent renewal process for all programs and led the introduction and redevelopment of many courses.
He implemented new academic leadership structures and initiatives that supported faculty development and improved student outcomes. He led transfer-credit alignment with the CPA Western School of Business and introduced technology-focused and certification-aligned courses. His work included modernizing the curriculum, improving scheduling efficiency, and transitioning to a new learning management system. He also mentored faculty, supported DEI initiatives, expanded industry engagement, launched the first Pitch Night, and contributed to policy-focused academic programs.
Before academia, he served as CFO, CEO, and Director for several public companies, leading regulatory compliance and strategic planning. He managed mining exploration projects and supported pharmaceutical research by securing financing and advancing early clinical trials.
