Prior to his role at FalconX, Hamill was the Director of Institutional Loan Originations at Genesis, a premier digital assets broker. His leadership there was marked by the significant expansion of the firm's outstanding loans, overseeing teams across Singapore, London, and New York, which greatly enhanced the firm's market presence.

Earlier in his career, Hamill had impactful tenures at Sanford C. Bernstein, managing trading operations for North American asset managers, and at Credit Suisse. At Credit Suisse, he ascended to the role of Vice President of the International Program Trading Desk, where he was responsible for managing substantial non-dollar portfolio trades and refining the processes for sizeable foreign exchange transactions.

His global market insights were further sharpened by a six-month assignment in Hong Kong in 2012, where he was tasked with managing the firm's top foreign exchange client account, giving him invaluable exposure to the Asia Pacific markets.

Hamill is a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics.
