Islam Elfiky

Islam Elfiky is a New York-based entrepreneur and the Co-Founder and Head of Business Development at MedsNow. Since 2020 he and co-founder Nikhil Misra have been building the company to help independent pharmacies compete online, giving them the technology to onboard patients, invoice, take payments, and stay compliant. There are around 23,000 of these pharmacies in the United States, and most have never had the digital tools the big chains take for granted. Islam came to business from sport. He grew up in Cairo, made Egypt's national squash team, and then played two seasons at No. 1 for George Washington University, finishing among the country's top 35 both years. His family runs a hospital business in Egypt, which is part of why his work keeps circling back to health and care.
