Each definition of craftsmanship mentions the element of skill, but there’s more to craftsmanship than skill alone! Craftsmen have great attention to detail, and they take great pride in their work. The Shaker design philosophy puts it best, with its main priority to be necessary and useful, then, once that has been achieved, to make something beautiful.
