Joseph Rallo serves as the Chief Executive Officer of E.F. Hutton & Co., a financial firm he revitalized in May 2020. His leadership has guided the company to remarkable growth, earning recognition as one of the most prolific IPO underwriters by deal volume in 2022 and early 2023. With more than 20 years of experience in investment banking, Rallo has completed over 500 transactions, generating proceeds exceeding $60 million. His approach to leadership is defined by consistency, integrity, and a deep understanding of market dynamics.

Throughout his career, Rallo has developed expertise in a wide range of financial services, including initial public offerings (IPOs), special-purpose acquisition (SPAC) offerings, follow-on offerings, mergers and acquisitions (M&As), debt capital markets, leveraged financing, restructuring, recapitalization, private placements, and hedging and risk management. His ability to navigate complex deal structures and deliver efficient results has established him as a trusted and respected professional in the investment banking community.

Rallo’s professional journey began at Lehman Brothers, where he worked as a Summer Analyst in Equity Derivatives while attending university. After graduating, he joined Citizens JMP Securities, spending a decade as Vice President in the Financial Institutions & Real Estate Investment Banking Group. He later advanced to Co-Head of Global Investment Banking at Aegis Capital Group, where he strengthened his experience in strategic leadership and large-scale financial transactions. These formative roles helped him develop the vision and expertise to shape E.F. Hutton’s modern identity.

When Joe Rallo co-founded E.F. Hutton during the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic, his goal was to rebuild a firm rooted in tradition but ready for the digital age. Headquartered in Manhattan, E.F. Hutton offers advisory and financing solutions for corporations, sponsors, and public-private partnerships. Rallo and his leadership team used technology to maintain client engagement and ensure operational stability during global disruption. This digital transformation allowed the firm to adapt quickly to remote work, retain high standards of client service, and achieve sustainable growth in a volatile market.

Beyond his professional success, Joseph Rallo is a dedicated philanthropist who believes in giving back to communities locally and globally. He serves on the boards of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Lang Lang International Music Foundation, and the Rousseau Foundation.
