Justin Stewart Weed is a decorated Marine, respected project manager, and committed hobbyist whose life reflects discipline, service, and steady effort. His path shows how focus and responsibility can guide a person from early education through military service and into a long-standing professional career.
He was born in Hampton, Virginia, and attended Gregory Portland High School, where he balanced academics with football and track. Managing school and sports required consistency and self-discipline, helping him develop habits that later shaped his professional and personal choices.
Justin Weed went on to attend Texas Lutheran University, where he continued playing football, and later transferred to Texas State University. Although his academic path was progressing, he chose to leave university to serve his country by joining the Marine Corps, placing duty above personal plans.
During four years of honorable service, he served as a scout sniper and completed two deployments in Afghanistan. These experiences required adaptability, leadership, and calm decision-making under pressure. After completing his service, he returned to Texas State University to study construction science and management, preparing for a career in construction.
Justin has dedicated more than a decade to the construction industry, where professionalism and reliable leadership defined his work. In 2017, he earned the title of Project Manager of the Year at Journeyman Construction. That same year, the team he led achieved the highest revenue within the company, reflecting effective planning and teamwork.
Outside of his professional life, he values design-build projects, woodworking, and fishing. Introduced to these interests by his father, he began woodworking with a fourth-grade project that tested different fasteners. Growing up in Corpus Christi, fishing became an everyday activity that taught patience and persistence. These hobbies remain critical outlets for focus and balance.
Justin Stewart Weed’s journey reflects a life guided by service, steady learning, and consistent effort, shaped by responsibility and practical leadership at every stage.
