Both elements are crucial to a product and work closely together. But despite their professional relationship, the roles themselves are quite different.

You need to work on a concept project which can help build your portfolio (one of your greatest assets). Have an updated LinkedIn profile. You can get Jobs from your LinkedIn account. Add fellow UX/UI designers on LinkedIn, Dribbble, Behance and other social media platforms (Make connections with other designers) Join communities like Forloop, ThinkSenpai, Figma design community, Ingressive etc. Also, contribute to open source projects.
