Two girls get caught in candy, and now they must run from the police!

2. Synopsis In a land where everyone is made of candy, coworkers Liquoya and Penny fight for the new guy at their agency. Sweet things suddenly turn sour, the girls are forced to turn to a life on the run. These rivals now must become partners in crime. However, with Liquoya’s bitter attitude, and Penny’s sickeningly sweet personality, this task ends up being stickier than they anticipated. (Think Wreck it Ralph meets Bonnie and Clyde)
3. Mr. Floss A hardworking cotton candy man who is timid, introverted and respects professional boundaries.
4. Liquoya An all-black wearing, aloof candy woman, well known for her sour personality and bitter attitude.
5. Liquoya’s rival. Outwardly sweet, inwardly devious. This seemingly kind candy woman stops at nothing to get what she wants. Penny B.
7. The Fight For Floss
8. Things get out of hand when the girls start fighting in the break room. The girls accidently set off the sprinklers, and Mr. Floss is melted to death.
9. The girls evade the police, and come to learn that they are great at working together. They rush to leave the country.
10. They fight a lot over little things…
11. …but they don’t mind each other’s company.
12. Mr. Smith Mr. Floss’ fierce best friend. He vows to avenge his death, no matter the cost.
13. A newbie officer assigned to Mr. Floss’ murder case. He unexpectedly teams up with Mr. Smith, and often has to reel him in when he gets too reckless. Officer Kane
14. Smith and Kane Conduct their own investigation, separate from the rest of the police force. They trail the girls, and eventually confront them. This ends in a high-speed car chase and shoot-out.
18. It is revealed that Officer Kane is the true mastermind behind Mr.Floss’ death, having rigged the sprinklers. He was jealous of Mr. Floss’ popularity and skill. Liquoya, Penny, and Mr. Smith bring Officer Kane to justice.
20. We tend to judge others that are even a little bit different from us. Sugar Highway shows that opposites can complement each other in fun, unexpected, (and criminal) ways!
