Morgan Anthony Bourque grew up in The Woodlands, Texas, in a community that valued accountability and practical thinking. Those early influences guided his path as he earned a Bachelor of Science from Baylor University, where he also studied communication and speech. He later attended Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law and then South Texas College of Law, where his interest in courtroom advocacy took shape through Mock Trial and Moot Court, earning championships in both.
During law school, Morgan developed the ability to simplify complicated issues, think quickly during fast-moving arguments, and speak to juries in a grounded and direct manner. Before opening his own practice, he gained experience across several parts of the justice system. He interned with the United States Attorney’s Office, Department of Justice, Southern District of Texas, as well as the district attorney’s offices in Harris County and Montgomery County. These roles provided him with an inside view of how investigations unfold, how plea decisions are made, and how cases are prepared for trial. He treated each position as practical training, learning how cases are built and how errors or assumptions can be challenged.
After returning to The Woodlands, he began practicing law with his father, whose long experience in the community helped guide the firm’s approach. Their work includes criminal defense, DWI defense, family law, and personal injury matters involving serious injuries or wrongful death. He prepares each case as if it could go to trial, which has contributed to securing more not guilty verdicts in criminal and DWI cases in Montgomery County since 2019 than any other attorney. In family and injury matters, he focuses on how evidence was gathered and how an event affected someone’s medical, financial, and social life.
His approach with clients is clear and organized. He begins with a detailed discussion of the issue and goals, then creates a step-by-step plan that may include gathering evidence, consulting experts, preparing witnesses, and setting a timeline. He communicates steadily and avoids theatrics in court, relying on clarity and preparation. Practice sessions help clients stay calm and credible when testifying.
Living and working in The Woodlands shapes how he handles each case, and clients have direct access to him throughout the process. He encourages anyone facing legal trouble to seek help early so that the evidence can be preserved and a strategy can be established quickly. Through preparation and straightforward communication, Morgan Anthony Bourque remains committed to helping clients make informed decisions about their future.
